Prayers for my Son, Please.

My Son (Tyler) has been incapacitated, (on Medical Leave) for the last 3 months, with extreme back pain. (Initially diagnosed as Sciatica.)
Underwent an MRI last night. Today on returning for their evaluation, he is being told he "Need's surgery on his L2 vertebrae."
He has an appointment in Boston with "the best Neurosurgeon on the East Coast," upcoming/shortly for a Second opinion and possibly a consultation for Surgery.
Please offer up a Prayer on his behalf, if you would be so kind.
Thank You, in advance.

Done for your son Ken.--------------------------Ray
Prayers ask for you and your son.
Done.
Tyler will definitely be in my thoughts and prayer Ken. These surgeons have this down to an art today. Glad you guys found a great doctor. He will heal and have a productive future. God bless my friend. If you need anything, let us know. Oak
Not a praying man, but my own back offers up great and sincere sympathy.
Prayer sent
Your son will be added in my prayers.
This was the first surgery. Now my entire back has full rods, plates, screws and pins. I can work, play golf, and do almost anything I want. Your son will be fine. The only trouble he might have, is when he heals up, with sciatic nerve pain. This is due to scar tissue from the surgery. Exercise and keeping weight off, will help this tremendously. I do exercises before I even get out of bed, Just by rotating my hips, and stretching my legs, helps me with the sciatic pain and pulling muscles. Tell him to remember one thing, they have to cut the muscles to get everything out and in. He might also end up with retrograde ejaculation, since they will have to cut the tubes and nerves to his private areas, to do a L2. No Biggy, but his doctor should prepare him for this. If he want to talk, he can call me. You have my number. Oakie
Sorry to hear, Ken. Too young to have back trouble. Praying that the docs can fix him up.
Done from here, Ken. Hope they can get everything squared away and functional again.
Prayers sent!
You've got 'em. I've had sciatica flareups twice and that's bad enough without adding vertebral surgery.
I'm so sorry.....so scary. I hope for the best news possible and a speedy recovery.
My back gives me fits every time I forget how old and fat I am and do something I used to could do easily.
That sciatic nerve is no joke for sure.....I can only imagine what he has been dealing with as far as worse spinal issues.
Done.
Thank You, One and All.
I am a firm believer in the power of Prayer chains, from friends. 👍
@oakie, I will relay your contact info to my Son, (but) Like me - he is stubborn. I doubt he will reach out. I appreciate the offer though, Sir.

Is it a ruptured disc, Ken?
Only the ones of us that experience back pain can really relate to the agony, definitely sending a prayer for him.

Prayers sent, Godspeed on a fast pain free recovery.
I had a ruptured L3, and the micro disectomy operation was very successful.
Prayers on the way for your son.
Back pain isn't anything to laugh about. I have chronic back pain do to a poorly shaped disk between my S1 and L5 vertebrae.
A childhood injury left me with a visible limp that I learned to mask by correcting my gait. This led to over stressing that dag-gum disk and squeezing it into a lopsided pancake. Not good for alignment, sciatica, or overall normal walking, leading to daily back pain.
Hop all works out for his benefit and good health.
