This is a fun little video from a couple of years ago! Quickdraw champ Nicole Franks has a look at some famous scenes from movies and gives her take. Spoiler: Eastwood knows what he's doing with a revolver.
Just under 15 minutes long and a lot of fun. Enjoy!

One thing I have never understood about quick draw fights is the impression you're usually left with that you don't want to try to draw your own gun until you see the other man make his move. To me, it's like, just be first no matter what and any way you can. Call it cheating, if you want, I guess.
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain
You have to take into consideration the time period the movie was set in, the entire movie premise is racist , who knows maybe because it was about slaves.
I too was somewhat disturbed by some of the language but that's what the movie was about, it wasn't a movie about Disney world after all. I have watched it several times and will watch it again whenever it comes back on TV.
You know it's a whole new world when everyone is cheering for the slaves.
How silly would show downs look all locked up like these "competition" competitors. Also like Mr. Perfect mentioned cheating like a track racer fudging the line. If Bob Munden was still around he'd show her what's what.
