    Should be a screw mount. The base of the screw is angled to fit the barrel dovetail. The sight is threaded for the screw.

    Look for model 1890 rear sights and you will get the picture, they are the same sight.

    Gun Broker # 554513033 has this rifle with the orig. site. The front is dovetailed into the barrel. The rear "serrated" piece appears to be adjustable back and forth to raise or lower site.

    ASOP, still the wrong sight. Look at auction 557076827. This is the sight. It uses a special screw with a tapered head that fits in the dovetail. Make sure you get the screw with the sight as it cannot be matched up with anything else.

    MG-Thank you. I ordered that same site from Paul Smeltzer. Appears he has a great supply of old sites etc.
