Looking to buy a 97 black Diamond forend checkered . Any help would be greatly appreciated . I look forward also to any thoughts where I could purchase one ? Thanks for looking . Jim

    I think there are a couple of different styles. With screws and with locking ring. The odds of finding a serviceable one are about nil. you may have to buy a new one and have it checkered with the correct pattern. Originals used a very high grade figured wood.
