Getting Ready for Spring Fishing!

Just got five of my Penn reels ready for spring fishing with my grandkids. My oldest grandson is biting the bit ready to go. This winter has me hitting the "cabin fever" wall! What are you doing to get ready?

Any chance of y'all getting out on the ice and wetting a line?
Beats lookin at the rods hangin on the wall.

I'm sitting here wondering, Fish, when I might go fishing again...it's been years now. When will you be going again?

I certainly don't need all of the fishing gear that's been packed away for the last six years or so, new rods and reels and the like. I'm going to do my best to get out and go fishing though! [:)]

I have been tearing down one reel a week and cleaning it and oiling everything up. Gotta be ready for the first off shore trip.

Pretty early to get itchy here in Wisconsin but I am thinking about a plan to fish for different species in different places this spring. Going to fish a lot more this year. Life is too short and I am looking forward to it.[:)]

Never too early to plan the first fishing outing.
