    Get thee forth and spread some snit over the Collectivists that infest America..perhaps an Individual will grow from the husk.

    Gentlemen, the best of the best are stepping forward to join this unique organization ..supporters of the ORIGINAL Constitution all.. a rare commodity even when it was written.

    A hearty welcome to each of our new Brethren.

    No. 4 in "The Order of The Brethren of The Canary *" is pleased to see the joining of forces for individualism and liberty.

    I must admit, it gives me heart to see the numbers of constituional supporters grow! We need to plant the seed in the minds of as many as we can, hope the conditions are favorable for growth and let it blossom. The more we can reach, the stronger we become and let the collectivists beware!

That and my Gypo Logger attitude. I don't debate those non believers, they get told once and if they don't get it I just comfort myself with the knowledge that one day they will see the light. I am much like you in the respect of time constraints and such.

    We have several here that are far better orators for a forum board.

    Josh, fair question. I have not met any forum member, Canary * Brethren, or otherwise.

    Corresponded via email with a few, but no face-to-face contact.

    i think that were this in the real world this organization youve all started would be a fantastic move and i would applaud you all. but what ive seen written here and being on the net just sounds like people puffing their chests out and patting each other on the back. people on these forums believe what they believe and what you type here isnt gonna change that. i guess im just hopeing that you each are saying as much to people you know in person as you do here and spreading the good word. good luck.

    LOL. What your getting at is, you hope we are not Keyboard Kommando's?

    Far from it here. I am a commander in the Indiana militia. My words don't just begin and end here.

    As far as meeting other memebers, I have to mimic what LT said. I sit in the same situation as him.

    I would like to be able to meet all of you fine folks,......and someday that may happen.

    Any of you passing my way are more than welcome to pay a visit!
    I have spoken by phone with several members, and via e-mail with others.

    I have only met one member from GB in person to date.

    First of all, I proudly accept your invitation to be "known" as a member in this group, for it's purpose could not be, more noble.
    Thank you all.

    Secondly, I would consider in an honor to personally meet each and every one of you, and a small handful more from GB, as I know of no one personally, except perhaps Dudley at RMGO, who shares these values. How sad a statement is that?

    Josh;
    Your statement that 'nobodies mind is changed by these forums' is false.
    Even a cursory reading will reveal honest men admit that they made a mistake supporting gun control and government control for most of their lives.
    They will admit publicly that THESE FORUMS directed them to the research that proved the facts as we present them, and opened their eyes.
    Perhaps you, too, can benefit from a bit of reading in this forum.

    Josh, this is where you are mistaken.

    I am going to use the NRA as an example. Right here on this forum. (GB) Years ago, when someone was audacious enough to post something negative about the NRA, that person was immediately jumped on, and beaten to within an inch of his life. If there were 30 posts on the thread, 28 of them were calling for blood.

    Skip forward in time. Another brazen member posts something negative about the NRA. This time, maybe half of the replies were calling for his blood. The other half AGREED with him. Some of those who are now agreeing, USED TO BE ones calling for blood.

    They had an open mind, and after being presented with BOTH sides of the issue, not just the one side being spoof fed to them by the NRA, they did their own investigating and made an INFORMED decision.

    Skip forward again in time. After the NRA's ARROGANT support of the Veterans Disarmament Act, opposing almost EVERY OTHER gun rights organization, even some of the die hard NRA supporters couldn't help but to see the light. With this knife thrust firmly in the back of the veterans, some of them looked back at what had been "typed here" over the years, now add that to this "new" outrage, quit calling for blood from those willing to try to open the eyes of the unseeing.

    I use this as an example that peoples beliefs CAN BE, and HAVE BEEN changed due to what is/has been "typed here" in this forum. I know it for FACT, because I used to be an NRA supporter. I didn't know better, but "I" learned.

    Armed with only our keyboards (at this time) we must at least try to educate others. While small in numbers now, the numbers are growing. Let the closed minded call us "keyboard commandos" Unable to disprove, or debate the issues, name-calling is all they have left. The written (or spoken) word, is all we have to fight the war with (at this time) let's use them to our advantage. Maybe we can avoid using the "other" implements of war.

    I received an email request from LOKO383 about how to become a member of the Brethren.

    I have done no research on his past positions, reference issues of individualism, here on GB, but he indicates that his heart is in the right and the constitutional place.

    I felt obligated to forward his request for the review of the Brethren.

    In my dealings with him on GB and via email, he has been a stand-up man.

    Information for review only.

    Fret not, Pickenup;
    You fleshed it out. Sometimes I forget that background helps FNGs' decide the right and wrong about an issue.

    I can vouch for every word you say...as one of the early punching bags for every Tom, Dick and Hairy that loved the NRA.
    I carry the scars yet today, from the vicious personal attacks that were launched at those of us daring to question the NRA.

    Some of the most vile statements a man could hurl was thrown at us...yet NONE approached the retort;

    YOU DO NOT SUPPORT THE CONSTITUTION if you support Gun Control.

    Amazing how the Constitution served a shield against ALL the slings and arrows that the Collectivists threw at us...and STILL throw.

    Today we have almost an embarrasment of riches..10 Mighty Men facing thousands.

    No apologies necessary, Josh;
    I appreciate the offer, however.

    Speaking for myself, I am less interested in ruffled feathers then I am in the facts of these matters ..and the unending propaganda that spews forth from the centers of power. Both government and places like the NRA.

    Folks like you keep us on our toes ...for if we begin to puff and preen like the Collectivists do ..we are lost.

    LOKO IMO is a stand up fellow. I am not totally sure where he stands on the constitution as written, as I have seen only a limited number of posts regaurding such.

    I do though, feel in my gut he IS what we seek.

    So, unless the brothers can find objection of him, I vote to induct LOKO.

    I have had the great honor and privilege to break bread with the one and only Highball. A higlight of my days, to be sure.

    I also, unfortunately, just missed a dinner with TR Fox, due to some inconvenient circumstance on his part (job related, if I recall)

    I will generally post if I am traveling (couple times a year usually) and see if any are interested in the breaking of bread and the enjoyment of a few adult beverages.

    I do know, but I'd rather not elaborate, except this - Tr Fox has nailed it: "collective borg" it is. [;)] And it has nothing to do with "great minds" "coming together" "to achieve a greater goal".

    It's an interesting phenomenon though, I'd happily discuss it, just not here [^]

    I vote a "yea" for Loko383,......assuming I still have voting rights.

    WTH is this, No.6 ? Have you suddenly denounced the Second Amendment ? Have you adopted the mantle of 'bigger government is better government" ??/

    This isn't about controlling people. Marc..that is what government does. We present facts and allow people to make their OWN DECISION about the level of government they wish and desire.
    How do you expect to change minds if we all sit around and pat each other on the back ...never looking outside our mindset ?

    Now,,the "militia" thing...ROTFLMAO !!!! ARRIGHT,YA MAGGOTS...FALL OUT...I will be there in ten hours..or twenty..or two days..however damnfar each one of you nearly nameless, faceless guys are from here...and vice-versa..

    YA..I call names. After a lifetime of fighting this fight..fustration gets the best of me. How intelligent people can buy into the crap spewed by big business and bigger government defies description...and leads one to believe that perhaps that intelligence is not as high as expected.

    Loko383 will be sworn in tonight around 10 P.M....unless a direct order to cease and desist is given by a standing member.

    Were he willing to consider it; CodenamePaul would be an excellent addition to the Order.

    He posts little..he has said much in person. A good man.
    I realize that there is little to go on but my word..for most of his posting is years old.

    If I haven't reported back on codenamepaul and the brotherhood votes to give him the affirmative, don't wait on me. If the senior members vote him in, their decision is fine with me.

    Not too familiar with the writing of LOKO or Paul, but if the others find no objection, I find it difficult to concieve that I would find a nit to pick for disqualification.

    If possible, not to play DB Cooper and hijack the thread, I would like to know where my fellow canaries are geographically - even if just a state or region I'm curious as to how wide an area we can cover. If anyone is open to sharing, I think you can e-mail me through GB right? The only one I've ever tried to e-mail through here is Highball when I tried to post the pic of the Alligator Mouth Canary........ I'm considereing trying to have that made into a patch, if I can find a way to do it, I'd love to have some made and have everyones "number" placed on it........ haven't looked into it yet, just an idea I've had.
