You stated something to the effect that "if someone doesn't believe in freedom, then they are a slimeball, etc."
You should have said, to be correct and truthful, that if that someone doesn't believe in your defination of freedom then they are a slimeball. Oh, and to avoid being a "slimeball", that someone must also believe in your solution for our loss of freedom.

To begin with, by no means do I profess to speak for anyone other than myself here. If others care to offer their opinions either way, feel free.
I agree with a lot of what you have to say, and I am not saying this to troll, or start an argument, but the condescending, arrogant, pompous way you come across in many of your posts is a large reason I stay off of this board.
I stay more active than most other gun owners in sending E-mails and physical letters to both politicians and journalists regarding the restrictive firearm laws. I have even had one major journalist respond, admitting he really didn't know much about guns, but he was relying on "other people" for his facts. I offered to take him shooting, so he could realize the true differences between a Tec-9 semi-auto, and a true machine gun (as he referred to the Tec-9 in his article). He took me up on the offer, and now understands the differences between them.
I hope one day that you realize that most of us here are working for a common goal, and that your "I am the only one who is right" attitude really is not helping anyone here reach it. Like it or not, we currently have very restrictive gun laws. You can either take an active role in changing that (which I hope you are) or you can sit behind a keyboard, and tell a bunch of other gun enthusiasts that would probably be your ally that they are full of crap for having ANY belief that may differ from yours.
But that's like saying shoot me in the right temple instead of the left temple.

He and his group beg to be taunted. Why else would they form a public group named the "Canary *?" It gives me a blank check to insult them using their very own chosen nickname. And I can usually get away with the insults because I am merely throwing their own, or parts of it, nickname back at them. So many of the moderators have no "legal" reason to delete my posts. Well, except for the patron saint of the YELLOW CANARY *, pickenup.

Well, consider this view. I am a serious gun owner and have been longer than most here have been alive. I have more guns than most people. I have purchased guns and CCW for my daughter and myself and I have purchased guns which will hold for my grandson until he is old enough to handle them. Only a fool would accuse me of being "anti-gun" or a liberal or on the side of the anti-gun crowd. Yet fools is what they are as that is what they accuse me of.
I am also anti-liberals, especially the left-wing kind. I think that BOTH political parties lie, cheat,steal and generally screw the citizens around. So, with all that said, one would think that, even though I support the NRA (and a few other pro-gun rights organizations) I would be considered a friend of most pro-gun people. Yet to many here I am considered the enemy. The reason for that can be found by considering that old Arab phrase "The enemy of my enemy is my friend." But in the case of the people here the phrase is "If a gun owner like tr fox does not TOTALLY agree with me, then he is my enemy."
Course, I will never agree with their simply minded view of the world so I guess we WILL remain enemies. But that should make people like you happy. If Highball and his gang didn't have me as an enemy, they might decide YOU are the enemy. Reason being that most half-way sensible gun owners DO NOT totally agree with Highball and his gang.
But, and pay attention here, if you do not TOTALLY agree with Highball and his gang, then at some point you will be noticed as being their enemy.
Watch and see.

I believe that you are 'pro-gun', in every sense of the word, according to the Gospel of Wayne 'Iscariot' La Pee Aire.
You are 'pro-gun' insofar as you want the privilege to own, carry, use for 'lawful' purposes, pass down, hunt, shoot and use firearms for self-defense; yet, you want the government to regulate, control, prohibit to certain individuals, monitor, approve and otherwise to 'infringe' upon the RKBA.
You beliefs are 'factually' in opposition to Amendment II and to our founding principles....'ipso facto', you are anti-constitutional in your beliefs on the RKBA and yes, that puts you squarely in the camp of the 'gun-controllers'.

No. If a gun owner like you does not support 2nd amendement as written then you are the enemy.
