Every time you fill out a 4473 form, that firearm is now registered in your name, new or used.

In PA you have to fill out an additional form for the PA State Police only if you are purchasing a handgun.

The PSP are supposed to destroy said forms after 72 hours.

    Yeah, right.

They have created a defacto handgun registry.

    Longshot, here's a hint.

Buy a rifle privately. No 4473, no background check.

And, it's perfectly legal in PA.

If u lose a handgun and report it in Phila., Pa., expect to have your gun permit revoke. I would think twice!
