Thanks,

The Super Congress can include ANYTHING in its legislation, including
gun control and none of it can be filibustered or amended!!

Exactly it is totally unconstitutional, I look for a law suit.
A sign of the times when our " Congress" cannot do the right thing by the people of this country.

At least one court has struck down a part of Obama care.

Myself and many others in our group are on e-mails and the phone week, it is starting to make a difference although very slowly

Of course it has to be voted on, just like the output from any of hundreds of committees.

Unfounded fear, like always here, runs rampant.

How many votes to override a super majority bill?

Unfounded fear ? You mean like back when they were talking about banning a black rifles because they were assault weapons? Like THAT unfounded fear? Some of us still have to deal with that fertilizer.

While not in every case, but sometimes yesterdays unfounded fears are todays or tomorrows nightmare.

I agree, but it could become a nightmare easily enough with Obama at the helm. How far left we have come just in my lifetime.

My hope is that American will grow a set and put a stop to this march to socialism. I notice that blacks tend to be socialists, I wonder why?
wasn't it the republicans that helped free them?

What amazes me is the "super committee" is formed to look for ways to "cut" spending. How is increasing gun control and necessary enforcement of that a "cut" in spending?

I think someone is twisting the truth here.

    Sovereignman:

Good question. Heres the answer. Since slavery the Democrats have fought to maintain control over blacks. The "end" of slavery didn't actually end anything. Not for a very long time. But as time passed things slowly got better for blacks in this country. To a point. Jim Crow and other wonderfull laws took their toll. Blacks were voting. In the south, they were voting. They were told how and when to vote. Or else. Now picture this. After generations of being told to vote Democrat or bad things will happen, 40 years down the road, how do you think the majority of blacks are going to vote? The 60's come along and the cival rights movement is in full swing. Southern Dem's are lynching blacks like theres no tomorrow. Not to mention killing a few northern whites trying to get cival rights passed. The Dems fight tooth and nail against anything that will deminish their hold. But seeing the writing on the wall, they do an end run on it. They still have the black vote. That's almost in the DNA at this point. But control is slipping away. Then along comes Welfare. Food stamps. And Lyndon Johnsons "Great Society". The father of modern welfare. He was freakin brillent. He took leg chains made of steel and threw them out and replaced them with chains made from paper. And then they convinced them that any Republican that tried to talk about keeping the black family together and personal responsibility were evil. They were racist. They were taking food from their babies mouths. Then they came up with a new plan. If the babies daddy was home, you couldn't qualify for welfare in some places. But if they weren't home, not only did you qualify, but you got MORE,(Keep in mind that before welfare, the black family was strong. Family was all that counted. Keeping and protecting your family was it. Because slavery destroyed families. Sound Familiar?) Then, the more babies you had, the more money you got. But if they voted Rebublican, they would take all that away from you. Generation after generation. 40, 50, years go by and today, you have a voting block that is very close to unbreakable. It is ingrained in their heritage now.

Thats why Obama was a sure thing. It was estimated that 95% of voting blacks. voted for Obama. Not because they thought he was the best choice, but because he was black. And if you voted against him, you were a white racist or an Uncle Tom. Either way you were evil.

And sir is why you have a large segment of the Black population vote as they do. IMHO.
