H.R.822

.
H.R.822 passed the House Judiciary Committee by a vote of 19-11. Looks like it's going to keep on moving along. I really wonder, if this thing makes it into law, what it will turn into 10 or 15 years from now ?

This is not the business of the Federal Government. Residents of most states will experience additional hurdles and restrictions to pacify the 'reasonable concerns' of other states.
Amendment 10 is dead.

My thoughts also. I've held a CCW permit in NYS for the past 39 years. I'm betting within 5 years, NYS will find a way to pull those permits from it's law abiding citizens, not to mention what kind of crap they will impose in order to "pacify the 'reasonable concerns' of other states".

Sooooo.. It's back to the RTKABA . The hell with unconstitutional dictator states or governments. This blather coming out of our major cities is nothing more than the socialist left making inroads into our God given rights. When do we finally say as a group enough is enough?
IMO, in 10 to 15 years it will end up being a national privilege to carry, with 'common sense' personal background verification and need requirements, 'common sense' annual training requirements, 'common sense' registration requirements for carry firearms, etc.

Amendment 10 is dead.
The Amendment is only dead if the citizenry refuses to protect it.
And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
Coming down the mountain
Looks like the House of Representatives will vote on this tomorrow.
