Been twenty years since this incident in La. It generated nearly 3 million signatures , mostly Japanese nearly 1 million US delivered to president Clinton, opposing gun ownership in the US.

    To do the story justice , best do a google reach on the name.
    There is a lengthy article of the court proceeding.
    If you can not maybe I can do a copy or paste here, never did that.
    In any event when that many people signed are against gun ownership you need to be aware of the event so as to defend your position.
