    I think he missed the boat on this comment

    Cuomo said he wanted quick action to avoid a run on assault weapons and ammunition as he tries to address what he estimates is about 1 million assault weapons in New York state.

    When your only skill is writing legislation, you write legislation.

    I'm sure there are carpenters who would like to solve this conundrum by building something out of wood.

    I'm going to assume a noble motivation. But they need to be held accountable when it doesn't work. And it won't.
