Was I dreaming this morning when I heard the news? Is the Gov really gonna lower the age to buy (rifles and shotguns) to age 18? Is he really gonna let retired officers conceal carry? And is he inacting a law regarding using firearms in self defence in firearm (unfriendly)cities?? or is this a big step in the right direction, and a step towards CCW in IL. Nobody wake me if this is true.

    Well, if 18 is old enough to go to war or in the army and handle guns, I think then they should allow you to purchase a gun at 18 also.
