A friend of mine is looking for suggested loads for his Encore using 180 grain bullets and R22 powder. I have looked through my books and come up with nothing.

They are NOT starting loads; consult manuals for starting powder-charge weights.

Winchester/ 3.5" OAL/ 26" barrel/ CCI 250/ Reloder 22/ 70 gr./ 2,996 fps.
Re-22 is a fine powder for large capacity cases when a double base powder is warranted. But there are several other powders which will allow for slightly improved performance over Re-22.

Hodgdon Hybrid 100V
IMR-4350
