Anyone ever fire form British 303 to 8x57r? Case spec for 8x57r : ( much dis info on this cartridge) are : .318 dia bullet, rim dia . 514 , shoulder dia .429 , base dia .465 , case length 2.235 , rim thickness .051
Sometimes referred to as 8x57JR , although cart of the world gives wrong measurements.
If so and what charge did you use to fire form?

I have never shot or had a small bore 8. Fire formed tons of stuff, I like a good cast bullet loaded over Unique myself. Other folks use a charge of Bullseye only fired straight up or 2400 with cornmeal on top fired straight up.
Sometimes on flea bay the proper 318 bullet mold comes up.

picture doesn't look correct, but I like Norma brass
It's a PITA, better to buy the right stuff to begin with.
