Sure enough. Thet were made by Alcan which was laTER TAKEN OVER BY s & w INC. A very good product and they made primers, powder, and shot also, including rifle and pistol primers. They made shotgun, rifle , and pistol ammunition. At one time AL 120, AL 5, AL7, and AL 8 were very popular shotshell powders. Wish i could still find Alcan C & D wads as i would still have a use for them in some Remington/Peters All American shells, made a great 7/8 ounce load. I still have some of their Flite Max wads and 220 primers as well as all sizes of pistol and rifle primers.

1970's Speer manual #8 list the Flite-Max wads. Numbered 1 thru 6. Most loads are using old Alcan casings, plus some (i think) old Federal casings. You might find more info over at www.shotgunworld.com
