--got a question for some of you varmints!!has anyone done any reloading on the 22-250 using 52/55/62 gr bullets?? I have a relatively virgin Weatherby (vanguard)VGX with "bull" BBL (24') twist 1 in 10--I wonder if anyone has some pet, accurate loads not so close to 3900fps. I've got some real accurate loads for my .223/.243 using AA2230c , but this 22-250 is new to me--thanx[:D][:D]---JIMBO

I wondered if any of you have used this powder on any of your rifles BIGGER than the (.223/22-250/22 mag-etc)
I got 5 lbs of it years ago and it's been super for my ,223/22-250-so
Any body used it on anything BIGGER ???
Thanx

Accurate lists it in loads for numerous cartridges from the .250 Savage and up to the .458 Win Mag, including the .30-06.

It's usable in the .308 with lighter bullets, in the 7-30 Waters, and is a wee bit too slow for the .375 Winchester. Those from my personal experience.

If you can find a load for something that has a loading using 2230, you can use it just replace the 2230 with the 2230c. Same bullet and everything...since the 2230c is a lttle slower it works great.

My information on 2230C is that it is equal to AA2460 cannister powder and data for that powder should be used. This info has been working for me fine.
