IMR-4064 or 3031 ought to work ! Those Rem. autos can be a pain in the butt to load for . Small base dies and a polished chamber are a great help !

Absolutly use small base dies, if you don`t the rounds will jam going in and be a lot of trouble to get out. I have a Remington 742 in 30-06 and I need to use the small base dies on it. Be patient when working up loads for it they are sometimes hard to get good reloads to shoot tight groups (semi-auto). I have a good load for my 06 in 125 gr.Nosler and 150 Barnes. So good luck.
