I plan to load some 120 Speer Grand Slams for my Ruger Hawkeye.
Sources suggest something in the 39 to 44 grain range and of course I'll be starting low and working up; looking for best accuracy at reasonable (not necessarily top) velocity.
That said, and considering the cost of these bullets, I'd be interested if anyone has worked with this combination and would care to share their experience. I've had good luck in the past with 4064, but I have a quantity of RL22 and hoped to find a good home for it.
