30-06 pet loads

Browning A-Bolt 30-06. What are good loads to try using Alliant powder Reloader 19 or Reloader 22 pushing a Sierra BTSP 150 grain or Sierra Prohunter 150 grain?

I've always used IMR 4350 or IMR 4895. Sierra book has this:

    Sierra 150 grain bullets
    RE-19
    53.3 grains @ 2600 fps
    55.2 grains @ 2700 fps
    57.1 grains @ 2800 fps
    59.0 grains @ 2900 fps
    60.9 grains @ 3000 fps

    My favorite 30-06 load is:
47.5 grains H4895, Sierra 168 Match King, Winchester brass and CCI BR-2 primers

I like RL22 in 6mm Rem and .257 Roberts with heavy bullets, but have not tried it in .30-06 and don't plan to. Most manuals indicate it is too slow for best results with 150-grain bullets in that caliber.

i am new to reloading. i haven't yet even bought the equipment yet. i have several hundred once fired shells of 30-06 and 300 win mag to start. i am obsessed w/ accuarcy. any one have anything to help point me in the direction to start w/ equipment, powders, etc. both rifles i am reloading for are weatherby vanguards (synthetic 30-06 and sporter 300 win mag)? thanks

Do a search in this forum (tab in the upper right) for "new to reloading" there are many threads on the subject with a lot of good information.

I have a number of 30-06 rifles and have pet loads for each, depending on its designated purpose (yea I've spoiled myself a bit,) but I have a new 30-06 bolt-gun with a 18.5 inch barrel that I have just seasoned/coated with about 40 rounds of 185gr Lapua moly projectiles. It is a designated moly barrel for the above mentioned projectiles. I used IMR 4831 starting loads for the seasoning, and after about 25rds the groups started to get more and more promising. However, I didn't chrono them (I'm in central MN and was freezing my * of just trying to season the barrel at the range OK?) Am looking for a good powder that will put some giddy-up on the 185gr molys out of the shorter 18.5 inch barrel. My pet load of 7828SSC for a 26 inch barrel I'm sure burns a bit too slow for this 18.5" barrel. Has anyone got a accurate pet load for heavy bullet-shot-barreled 30-06? While some giddy-up on it would be nice, accuracy, as always, comes first. Thank-you in advance.
    Regards
