Speer Reloading Manual confusing me

Speer's reloading manual has loads for the 32 ACP with their 60 gr Gold Dot HP bullet. They say do not reduce. Also the OAL length is .940. The OAL .940 will not work in my magazine, it needs to be .900 just like their factory ammo. Since I am seating the bullet deeper I assume I need to reduce the load, the question is how much...the do not reduce has has me a little concerned.

You didn't say what gun you're shooting or why longer OAL doesn't work in your mag.......
Along time ago...Seecamp made their .32acp guns ONLY for the short 60 grain bullets. This started a trend which some call ".32acp shorts". Many factory loadings were changed for the tighter magazines, but not all. The .32 is listed as .985" Oal. But in the real world you need to load at .900 to .910".
If you are at 2 to 2.2 grains of w231, I think you should be good to go. Bob
