ultrasonic cleaning Hornet brass

I have been cleaning brass with an ultrasonic cleaner for about a month now and I only load for 223 and 22 hornet. My question is after I'm done cleaning my brass I have been putting them in the oven on a cookie sheet set at the lowest temp setting just long enough to dry them out 20 or 30 min. max and they get pretty hot to touch. Will this weaken the hornet brass, is this a bad idea for any brass cases. Any thoughts on this.

The low temp. setting on your oven should be less than 200 degrees. No change in material strenth will take place at that temp. or below.
You're good to go.....I do the same thing.

Same deal here. Set the oven on warm- just under 200 degrees. Hot to the touch but no worse than touching hot black asphalt.

In the summer I just set the cookie sheet out in the hot sun for a few hours.

First time the wife found a spent primer in a chocolate chip cookie I lost my oven priviledges. Now I just leave them on top of the basement furnace in a shallow box overnight.[:D]

I dry mine in the oven on a cookie sheet with the door just barely propped open to allow the humidity to exit faster.

I just set them in front of a fan to move air over them. They dry fast that way.

I spread mine out in my dehydrator to dry.

Do it in advance and let them air dry. If your doing a bazillion cases,
and in a hurry, a small air compressor and blow gun also works.
