Load 16 Ga. with Bullseye

I've found quite a few 'target loadings' in 12 Ga. using Bullseye powder and they work well enough in the back field at hand thrown clays, however; I can't find any loadings for 16 Ga. using Bullseye. Surely if it works in 12 it would work in 16. I just want target type loads, nothing 'big gun'. Anyone know any???

Bullseye was the fastest burning of Hercules powders of the 60's and 70's. It was designed for pistol and revolver ammo. Remember that the smaller the gauge, the slower the burning rate of powder needed. Hercules does not list any shotshell loads for Bullseye.

I would never attempt to load shot shells with Bulls-EYE powder. This powder is For Pistols . I have loaded over 300,000 rounds of pistol ammo with Bulls-Eye .1 grain over in pistol case can cause problems .This is NOT the powder you want to use for a HOME Made load.[xx(]

The Lyman Shotshell Reloading book, 4th Ed., specifically states that Bullseye is a fast burning pistol powder (read high pressure) and can be used for light target loads in 12 gauge ONLY.

Being a very logical fellow (I do have slightly pointy ears) I thought it quite reasonable to assume if Bullseye is listed for 12 ga. surely it would be usable in 16, since virtually all other powders listed for one can also be used in the other, including Unique, which I use for a number of pistol loads. However, having no desire to harm either myself or my fine old M-12; I will heed the advise I asked for. Thank you gentlemen.
