I have been reloading for my Ruger Redhawk with 7.5" barrel for years. 240 gr jhp with 12.2 gr of Unique powder with no problems. A friend of mine says that is way to hot for that gun but is OK for A riffle. Which brings me to my Question, just bought A Marlin Model # 1894 20" barrel & looking for A good load for it. The one I am already reloading OK or does someone have one better. Even down to 200 or 180 bullet would be OK with me.

I never loaded over 10.5grs. Unique in my 240JHP. I got 1,250fps. out of my 7 1/2 Redhwwk and 8" DW.
Use the same load in my Marlin 44mag.
    Loded 24.0 H-110 for 1,460 for a hunting load.
