Who's shooting the 6.5mm Creedmore ? What bullets and powder charges are you sucessful with ? They say the Hornady A-Max does well, don't know where to start with my new Ruger #1-B

    countershaft,

Hodgdon and the other powder manufacturing companies have data already for this cartridge. I would start with book loads until you develop an understanding for this cartridge. The 6.5 Creedmoor is basically a 4350 powder type cartridge. All three 4350 powders and the others in that range will work with bullets weights from 120 to 140 grains. Hornady verifies this on each package of loaded ammunition.

    Best.

My thought exactly. One of the few rounds with reload data printed right on the box. With powders you can buy at the store, not the secret blend of herbs and spices whipped up to the exacting specifications of a corporate ballistician we read about so often on the internet.
