pacific durachrome dies

I have a set of these in 9mm that I want to finally start using. They were given to me by a friend and I don't know anything about them. How can I tell if the sizer die is carbide or not? Thanks in advance for the help

The carbide in a carbide sizing die is a ring inserted into the die body. You should be able to look at the mouth of the die and see a seam between the steel die body and the carbide insert... if present.

Ok thanks guys. I just wasn't sure what to look for. All of my other dies were purchased new so I knew what I was getting. Also knew the differences between the packages they were in. Just didn't have any prior experience with these ones. Again, I appreciate the help.

I'm reasonably sure that those dies are old enough that they are NOT carbide. Especially if the label doesn't say they are. I have a set of Pacific Durachrome dies for 45 Colt, and they are regular steel, not carbide. Hornady bought Pacific decades ago.
