Uberti, Cimarron, Taylor...Difference.

I'm looking for an 1871-72 open top revolver. Does Uberti make them for both Cimarron and Taylor? How about EMF?

    Uberti makes them for Cimarron and Taylors. Not sure about EMF. ASM made open tops a while back; don't know if they still do - and I'm not sure if Pietta does or not. Someone with more info than I will have to answer that.

    Uberti makes all the open tops. ASM is out of business. EMF uses some Uberti products, such as open tops, but their '73 Peacemaker (Great Western II's) are made by Pietta. Try Texas Jacks or Buffalo Arms for new ones, or gunbroker or {elsewhere} for new/ used.
