To want to repeal the AW ban means to want to vote agianst it right?

And since "Assault Weapons" (I.E. Folding stock, flash hider, mag. above 10 rounds pistol grip, etc) are rifles and in some cases shotguns do a assume right that you have to be 18 to buy them? Or do these extremely deadly features bring it up to 21?

Should they make all the firearms on the whitch's list into NFA weapons, anybody got any idea about how the states that do not allow NFA weapons will deal with the suddenly illegal firearms?
Will we suddenly need permission from BATF to transport them accross a state line for any purpose?

You are asking people for information on something that has not happened. We know as much as you do.

Pick the worst case scenario answer and go with it.

Well How many thought "Dear Leader Maobama" would/could get a second term after all the screwing up and damage he has done/caused in the first term?
Unfortunately the administration has 20 dead kids to use for their own agenda and not let a "good crisis go to waste".

I believe the democrats are loading the docket to the hilt not expecting to get all they want but I think we need to treat it as if it will pass. Of late, since 2008 we've seen things get rammed down our throats no one ever could have believed would become law.

I can see it now- California is going to have to reopen those fruit inspection garages at the entry points- only now instead of asking if the driver has any fruit they'll ask if he has any guns[:(][:(]

Most of those inspection stations are looking for illegal aliens these days. The medfly scare is pretty much over with.

Hey guys, I'm not speculating that the law will pass. I'm in the process of writing a letter to my rep and want, as part of my objections, to explain how many of these firearms are used in competitions and hunting and how making these firearms NFA weapons will be a severe restriction to participants in those sports.

The outline of the proposal by Feinstein includes:

    >>>Requires that grandfathered weapons be registered under the National Firearms Act, to include:....
Certification from local law enforcement of identity and that possession would not violate State or local law;....<<<

I would expect that any reclassification of semi-autos as NFA weapons will mean such firearms would end up being completely banned in those states that don't allow NFA firearms.

You'd probably be given a certain grace period to transfer them out of the state, or risk prosecution.

I would expect those who live in states not allowing NFA items will want to watch this coming legislation very carefully; it sounds like it could be a "back door" way to a complete ban on most semi-autos in those states.

One unintended result if this thing passes is that the AR15 that I paid $600 for used 10 years ago and is worth $1500 to $2500 today because of the panic buying, will soon be worth $5000 to $10000 as a NFA registered gun. Is this a great country or what?

It won't be worth crap because they won't be allowing you to transfer it. Plus it will be a matter of time before they tell you to turn it in.

It has not happened with full auto machine guns yet, they can still be bought and sold. I sort of doubt that the current administration has any idea that they even exist.

I don't think the same socialist scum were in power when the 1933 law was passed, today a whole different set of traitors are in charge.

Nope. It's the same group that shoved social security down our throats.
