Wasn't there a Marine Army captain a few days ago that wanted to funnel some not-stolen money from Afghanistan? Maybe this is the guy? [:D]

Perhaps or he was a Marine, got out then re-enlisted into the Army at a later time.

I met a guy who was a Marine, did his hitch, then went into the Army reserves as an officer with two Iraq tours...they're rare, but they're out there.

Sort of like Hawkeye and Radar in the O-Club testing out the new rank of corporal captain!

He must have had some real good friends when he was drunked up!

Met a lot of former Marines that have gone Army. I knew a few that had been Army and then joined the Marines.
    What's next?

A friend of mine was in the army (Americal Div) and for some reason was ordered to 3rd Marine Div. so he fought right along with us but got his check from the Army instead of the Marines.

Units from the Americal Division went to Dong Ha some time around May 1968. I believe it was separate commands.

I'm thinking of doing something similar.

7 years in the USMC, but now in the Navy. I have a USMC (EGA) tattoo over my heart. Maybe I'll put the Navy tattoo on my butt.

I've met a couple that were in all the services.
Maybe he was assigned to an Army unit.
I've known Marines whose total enlistment was shipboard with the navy.
We may have had Marine security on Army troop transports. Certainly there were many aboard who really didn't want to go where they were going.
These permament EM's liked the life of three hots, a cot and no long term emotional entanglements.
This idiot seems to have a fresh tatoo from the swelling.

Just had someone label it for him so he knows what it is. If you were able to scroll down you'd probably find LEGGY on the outside of his thigh.........
