This is one of Perry Shooter's guns.....the only one I've seen so far that didn't instantly jump to market value, so you guys keep an eye on this one. Its a NICE one to add to any collection.

    Maybe the weekend will see it closer to market value.

    That could be a Springfield Armory remake. Normal 1911's were fitted with NM barrels and bushings.
    Those lightly stamped numbers on the barrel and bushing are not serial numbers, but rather part numbers....many remakes have the same numbers.
    Only thing I don't see, which may or may not, during that year, be on that gun is the punch mark near the serial number of the frame which the armory tested for hardness before conversion.
    That could be, not sure, a home made national match gun.
    A truly righteous NM gun of that era should go for about $1500 IMHO.
