I'm watching this on Saturday evening while looking at the post that says Sunday, more than five hours from now. :? :? Feels like if I get to the end he's going to be selling something like toe nail fungus cream.

When you see them chop the legs off the NRA pay attention. The GOA which is a non profit and steps up will be next on the audit along with little gun groups.. Demorats way to take away representation in Washington. May be funny now and your wish come true. be careful what you wish for.. BTW all the past gun law the NRA has done is not going to be reversed.

And if and when an audit is started how many Republicans are going to be mentioned taking money for votes. Put the seat belts on the ride is going to get bumpy.

Probably a true statement, but at least you admit that the NRA HAVE done gun laws.

    This is my fault.
I take the print editions, instead of the less costly digital format publications.
I always take the complimentary duffel bag, pocket knife, hat, etc.
I never let them convince me to buy the lifetime membership, but renew on a year by year basis.
When they call, begging for more money, I promise them I won't renew if they don't stop harassing me.

Historically, the NRA president was a "gun guy", until they brought in the politician LaPierre.
This news is disheartening, but not surprising.

I'll return my "made in china" NRA pocket knife if that'll help.

Everyone knows the NRA pawned their way into compromise with the govt on past law. The Dems are attacking the gun lobby, Regardless what organization it is. If all are eliminated the senate, congress folks won't know how to approach a settlement on any current new law. We are all sitting ducks. The govt used the NRA until recently. It was a test on the bump stocks to see what kind of rebellion would happen. Actually nothing happened, so get prepared for the next restriction.

Heck...as useful and productive a partnership/relationship as the NRA and govt have been in for many decades, I expect that the NRA is 'too big to fail' and that govt will bail them out in some manner so as to keep the slow-sell of gun control going with the largely stupid, ignorant and Fuddite gun owning populous.

How could they possibly let the goose that lays the golden gun-control egg die? ;)

    Drain the NRA swamp.

Now here is some information you need to know about the NRA, the bylaws are pretty much hidden. Anybody have a copy of the current bylaws?

That should be a warning to all you members, if you do not read and understand the bylaws of your organization, how on earth do you know what they are up to?

I tried a search for the bylaws, and came up with a site that confirms that the NRA can easily be infiltrated by anti gun folks and gun rights brought down from the inside. And look what is happening now, is it any surprise?

    https://www.gq.com/story/nra-takeover-bylaws-leadership

And to top things off, why do they need to be a "non profit"? The socialist platform of freebies. Makes no sense to me. But then again, I'm the guy who thinks everybody should pay their fair share of taxes, thus eliminate non profit status of corporations, they are giving real business a bad name, "evil corporation", etc.

Please go read the bylaws and quit being monkey see, monkey do followers, believing the fake news. If you as the patron/member do not know the bylaws, how are you going to hold the leadership and management to them? For that matter, how do you know the bylaws are in alignment with your firearms beliefs?

NRA is breaking the law and this is somehow congress' fault. Hilarious.
Some will die in hot pursuit
    And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
    While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
    Coming down the mountain

Somehow Washington State.. is one of the worst anti gun state in the Union.

100% correct, SF, and it is a shame.

5 years ago we were one of the most accepting. Hell, we even have a clause in our State Constitution that ensure that the individual will have the right to own weapons that can used to assist in protecting himself and the state:

Washington Constitution Article 1; Section 24 The Right to Bear Arms:
?The right of the individual citizen to bear ?The right of the individual citizen to bear ?The right of the individual citizen to bear ?The right of the individual citizen to bear arms in defense of himself, or the state, shall not be impaired?

Obviously this has been tossed on the trash heap of history both by our legislature and by citizen initiative.

The new controls are being fought, but with the current populist/collectivist trend in the state and the country, I do not hold out much in the way of hope for success.
Freedom and a submissive populace cannot co-exist.

Just announced that Ackerman McQueen is cutting ties with the NRA. Ackerman McQueen runs NRA TV and all the ?faces? of the NRA on YouTube, social media and the tv shows. They had massive control over what went on at the NRA. Millions of dollars flowed to them. But internal lawsuits against the NRA and all the backlash against LaPierre probably was enough.
