Just so it is perfectly clear, I will not answer any census questions at all if the citizenship question isn't asked. The government needs to learn what the term ILLEGAL really means!

Just send it back with all unanswered questions..
Me I just throw it in the trash.
Then when the census guy comes around I sic my 2 Golden retrievers on him
Really........thats crazy
I have received one every time there is a census, I even had a guy come to my house about 20 years ago and ask me census questions on my porch. It was in fayettville nc and I was between deployments, smoking a cigar and drinking beer. I offered the guy a beer but he said he wasn't allowed to drink on duty.
I'm a citizen!
Caught wearing my tin foil hat this afternoon.
The first job was for the mapping so by the time I got there I was the third person who had been there. Then came the actual census so in a few rare instances I was the SIXTH person they had talked to. There was a third phase but I can't recall what it was as I was fed up with the waste of money by then & it didn't relate to the actual census.
In some cases I was sent as far as Barstow or Palm Springs to check on less than five cases. I was paid mileage & driving time. I was worried I was racking up too much money but they told me just the opposite. They were worried that if they didn't use all the money they were allocated they would be cut the next time.
It was interesting & I am giving some thought to doing it again next year. I am really hoping the laptop computer's program is MUCH better than what we had. We were allowed to use the telephone to contact people but the phone numbers we were given were almost always bad. With everyone having answering machines now that would probably be even worse. Hopefully they will ask for E-Mail addresses & be able to do it on-line but I doubt many people would be willing to answer census questions on-line. I also wonder if they will use GPS for the mapping phase? We were told to pace it off or use our car's odometer.
I remember one time when I was ordered out of a trailer park by the owner. When I was leaving I saw a cop car & asked him to escort me back in which he did. In that case the map was really screwed up & that was why I had been taking so much time. There were also a few times when it became obvious the previous people hadn't really done anything & had faked their results. When we found that we had to redo everything they had done.
If you fill out the form and return it you will save the Newnited States bundles of money.

About 1990, I got one of those multipage questionnaires in the mail. After reading it I decided they wanted WAY to much information that was really none of their business. I threw it away. A month or so later they sent me another one with the warning that I could be fined $100 for not filling it out. I sent it back with a note asking where to send the C-note. Never heard from them again. I'm not giving them false info, just none.
No wonder the Libatrads want more illegals in this country, they will have the ONLY say in things soon.
:?: :?: :?: :?: :?: :?:
Now you see the issue. I could lie on my form and say 20 people live in my house, because I live in a predominantly liberal area, that would just give the libs more representation.
If they don't add the citizen question, I feel it my duty to let them know. And that is the ONLY question I will answer. The question then is to add a note explaining or not.
If they figure the question will "disenfranchise" participation, that is exactly what NOT having the question does. It used to be on the census.
The other thing people need to be aware of is going to be the phishing scams that will happen. Oh the robo calls, and you're going to jail, and you can pay by giving your ssn and all personal info.
The census should probably be done away with in this day of surveillance. I'm sure google has an accurate count.
Answering personal questions that are none of anybodies business, is an issue, when they won't even ask if you are a citizen.
Just add them to the posse.
One day I accompanied him to the regional branch of the National Archives in Anchorage where he familiarized me with the process of elementary research. In a relatively short time we were reviewing microfilm of the 1910 census when all of a sudden there was my father and his entire family. Dad was listed as a three year old boy.
The sight of this one census enumeration led to one long and great adventure for me. I cannot thank my friend enough for what he has done for me. And, I cant wait to research a lot of people once the 1950 census is released. Who knows, maybe my son and grandson or another relative will be looking forward to finding me and my folks in Jefferson County, Texas, as a 7 year old boy come 2022. So, if you were born before census time in 1950...you can find out all about yourself and your family once the 1950 census hits the street.
Regardless I have nothing to hide and as mentioned the census of years past has been instrumental for me in a ancestry research.
Yep. we all should lie in whitelandia too. Say 10 residents in your home and get more fed cash for your town.
The demonrat shitholes do - thats why they want illegal filth counted also.
