Expensive old pocket watch

This old Antique McIntyre 18K Gold Pocket Watch went for $36,009.99 on e--bay yesterday. They only made about 8 pocket watches before they went out of business back in 1911. There only 3 or 4 more that's not accounted for. If you ever see one grab it. Scroll down on the page to see it.

    The bail for the chain is more of a chain part than a watch part.
    Size. style, shape, would be the complaint to the chain used.

    You may have the technical knowledge......but I've never seen one made/connected specifically to a chain before, they've always been connected to the watch ;) I'd think most buyers would rather it compliment the watch and let the chain speak for itself.
