First off info from last question is appreciated from all especially John Stimson's response from an expert on these rifles. Anyway I have heard some pros and cons on the trigger being a two piece affair on these JC Higgins FN model 50's and was wondering if anyone here has opinions on them ? Also does Timney make a drop in replacement for these rifles ? Any info is always appreciated.

The ones I've handled were simply variations of commercial Mauser 98 and most triggers for mil-surp 98 work fine with a bit of fiddling.
