Savage 110 .243 Variant and Value

I have a Savage 110 .243 with a synthetic stock and a Simmons scope. It was my dad's last rifle. He bought it new and only put 10-20 rounds through it in total. As much as I hope i don't have to, I may have to part with it.
The problem is that I am not sure which variant it is or it's fair value. All it says is "Savage model 110 cal .243 win"
The stock has a couple scratches, but other than that it's essentially new.
So is there an easy way to find a variant model? Based on what i know, can anyone suggest a fair price range? I don't want to sick it to a buyer, but if i sell it i do need every fair penny of its value.
Thank you.

I have a Savage 110, in .270. Wood stock. I paid considerably more than $400 for it, if recollection is somewhat accurate.
Search past "sold" auctions, in order to see what they are selling for here on GB.
Good luck, I hope you get to keep it. Spring threw fall is a better time to sell.
I have a lot of respect for the 110 E in 30-06. While not a tack driver or expensive, its was a stout action.

Hey thank you guys for taking the time to reply. I actually had looked through the auctions before i posted, but there are a few variants and the price varies by model. My problem is, I'm not sure which variant i have as it isn't stamped on it anywhere. The last thing i want to do is base my asking price on a more expensive variant and potentially screw someone over. (Well the last thing i want to do is sell it, so i guess screwing someone over is the 2nd to last thing)
Any way to tell which model i have if it's not stamped on it?
Thanks again.
You can try and date the rifle by the serial number, see the sticky at the top. They made a bunch of different ones over the many years. It could be a lot older that when it was purchased.

added So I tried to find some serial number stuff for the 110 - not so easy. Can of worms and more effort than I want to put out right now. Good luck
