Looking for help identifying Civil War knives

44mag444mag4 Member Posts: 47
I have quite a few possible Civil War knives that I need help identifying. Have tried the internet and found a few but many are unmarked. Is there anyone out there who can guide me in the right direction to get these identified and priced? Have photos of all of them the send to a email address. Thanks

Seems to me, it would be better if you can locate. Somebody local, who is either a knowledgeable collector or dealer, for a hands-on..  Specially with the unmarked ones. Authentic Civil War knives, are very valuable. Trouble is all kinds of repo's, and out in out fakes, have come down the pike in the last 155 years. Photos are problematical IMHO, with good quality repo's and fakes. That's why a actual hands-on, by a pro is required.
