Anyone try this SUPER expensive Bourbon ?
1.5 to 3.5 Thousand dollars on line, despite the MSRP. (15year old)
10,12,15,23 and "if you have to ask the price" .... vintages.

Like most things the cost for improvement at the top is expensive.   There's a lot of difference between a $100 pistol and a $1000 pistol and while a $2000 pistol will be better the difference will not be so dramatic over the $1000 one.   Same for booze.  Once you reach a certain level the cost of improvement becomes exponential.

Well, I hope those who can afford it enjoy it because I don't think I'll ever be having any!
I'm not going to buy any but even though I gave up hard stuff over 30 years ago I would make an exception if someone offer me a free shot.

I've had the 15 year old and the rye. Both were excellent, but not so much better than other premium brands that I'd pay the inflated prices.

I have an open bottle of 12 year old Van Winkle on the bar right now. It is good but not “oh my gosh” good.

Had about $200 worth the other day, lol. #3 won a bottle in a raffle. She and son-in-law shared it with #2, her hubbie, and me. Was smooth like butter for sure.
