I can kinda understand why some LEOs might be against this, but instructors against this are just showing their greed imho...

Pure garbage, Carried in a state, conceal or un concealed long before..decades before anyone started taking training.
This is the typical legislated access approach to firearms we have seen for decades from training organizations. The NRA is a prime culprit, but there are many, including ex-military and current and former LEOs who do not consider a right to be absolute.
