They fight old Navy Seals with newspapers. I damn sure wouldn't let them treat one of my Shoei helmets like that.

How many folks born while in air let alone Rangers?

Some will die in hot pursuit
    And fiery auto crashes
Some will die in hot pursuit
    While sifting through my ashes
Some will fall in love with life
And drink it from a fountain
That is pouring like an avalanche
    Coming down the mountain

A rolled up magazine thrusted to the throat would hurt a lot.

When I land on some place where I cannot have a gun or knife I usually go to the hardware store and buy a nice shiny hammer.

It is a tool and not really a weapon like a knife or a machete would be looked at but it is devastating in a CQ fight.

Exactly!! A 22 oz framing hammer will kill or just break bones and it never runs out of ammo and it is very quiet. A large adjustable wrench will work as well. There are good weapons all around that don't look like weapons.

How about a an 18 volt cordless drill with a 3/4" x 8" titanium nitride bit set on high revs. Maybe even a paddle bit with a screw starter.

Home depot has a nice framing hammer and I have seen them on sale for $12.

A drill?? That's just mean. Why not just a good Milwaukee battery powered chainsaw??

Or maybe a Milwaukee Sawz all with a wrecking blade. I have one but its not a cordless so i would have to stay near an outlet or have one of these newfangled pick up trucks with the 110 outlet in the bed.

Those cool little cordless rip sawz that come in the pack with the light and drill would be kind of cool too.

The cops in Panama carry a piece of heater hose filled with sand and plugs on both ends for handing out a beating.

I saw a cop in the DR Congo whip a kid with a fan belt one time.

Just about anything can make a good weapon if you use your imagination.

Yep. If you ever watched the movie (and yes, it's Hollywood) The Accountant, the dude beats up a rather large individual with just his belt... wielding it as an improvised flail.
