How do I know? Having sons on both coasts I can attest to the unfathomable deeply rooted hatred for the man from talking to their friends. Neither of my boys think like their friends do. Their friends hate not so much the leader of our nation but a deeply rooted hatred for Donald. There is a million reasons for this hatred and a hundred million or more that would vote for Satan over Trump, they hate him that much. No matter what good he did, no matter how he tried to protect We The People, they hate his guts.

That is reality, I am rooting for Ron DeSantis at this point. He is every bit as tough as Trump with out the Twitter stupidity Trump did that I said years ago was going to be his downfall.

He had his chance and just couldn't keep his mouth shut. There are more ways to accomplish goals instead of rubbing it in the face of the opponent .

I am waiting on who are the eight Johns that the court has released on Epstein- Maxwell case myself. We know of two who where on the flight list already? Right?

    • The documents are said to contain 'vast swathes of information' about Jeffrey Epstein and Maxwell's 'sex trafficking operation' and references eight John Does
    • The individuals are identified in court documents only as 'Non-Parties 17, 53, 54, 55, 56, 73, 93 and 151' - it is not clear if one of them Prince Andrew

While I don't really 'like' The Donald, I certainly admire him for managing to be elected President w/o spending a lifetime as a career politician.

I liked Trumps results but to get a republican in office a little less polarizing candidate seems in order. I'm thinking a DeSantis/Noem slate could elected easily. Bob

You are right. The liberals that i know would vote for anything other than Trump, in fact they did with Biden.

Their hate of Trump is like being a rabid animal.

    WIN???

Trump wouldn't even survive another run for President. Politicians on both sides of the floor were scared spitless after he won the 2016 election.

Let's see how Desantis handles having tens of millions of dollars thrown at him if he runs and wins.. they couldn't buy Trump.. that's why they hated him so much...

  • dunbarboyzdunbarboyz Member Posts: 2,126 ✭✭✭✭

Trumps ego will not let him not run. Somewhere there is a list of all the politicians that Trump has bribed, it is a long one.

No more mistakes like 2016..the machines will be primed and ready to go.. whoever they want to win.. will win..

Sure glad Clinton, Obarry and Biden don't have any of that. STRAIGHT AND ON THE UP AND UP ALL THOSE. Out of the four, who would you trust on a deserted island with one sack of food? Trump can mean tweet all he wants, I will take the 2.00 gas versus Joey's 3.60 now and going to 5-6 already in places and spreading more money around the world than Hitler did mid war. What could go wrong, Joey runs out of chocolate ice cream?

He can always go over to Nancy's to feed his brain freeze.

DeSantis would be a good choice.

The big worry is what clown show the Democrats are going to unleash. It would not surprise me to find a younger candidate like Newsom from California. He stands for everything undesirable- Socialism, anti 2nd Amendment, pro-vaccine passport, big supporter of Climate Change propaganda, and panders to BLM. He's the poster boy for the Marxist agenda

  • Floyd621Floyd621 Member Posts: 1,945 ✭✭✭✭

    Biden said the same thing..

  • mike55mike55 Member Posts: 2,853 ✭✭✭✭

Yea they do! And after a while they become oblivious that they are drinking it!!! Just sayin!

  • pingjockeypingjockey Member Posts: 1,879 ✭✭✭✭

With the mainstream media in control and in their present state, the Republican party will never find a candidate that isn't "polarizing".

I don't get it!! Do you really think anyone can go to Washington and get anything done by playing nice?? They are a bunch of career crooks looking to keep their gravy train going no matter what it does to the rest of the nation! I believe it will take a pretty special person to get the job done. They would have to have business sense and know how to negotiate. That's all Trump!! It would take at least 8 years to get the swamp drained from all of the treasonous folks that were put in place under the O administration. I don't believe the Dems will negotiate with anyone, it is their way or no way. I'm not sure it matters, the next election will most certainly be as rigged as the last!!

To my mind it is wholly irresponsible to go out into the world incapable of preventing violence, injury, crime, and death. How feeble is the mindset to accept defenselessness, how cheap, how cowardly, how pathetic. Ted Nugent.

They have rigged elections for years... they thought they had 2016..so they went all in for 2020..and they knew they would get away with it..It would take a miracle to save this country now..and personally..I don't think we will see one..

  • select-fireselect-fire Member Posts: 69,453 ✭✭✭✭

Trump continues to run his mouth. Now he wants to pardon the Jan 6 riot folks if he gets back in charge. He just cannot shut up.

  • serfserf Member Posts: 9,217 ✭✭✭✭

Well he is just doing what The Democrats are doing. There is another State voting to change the constitution and man they have a lot of good ideas but the one they fail to address is the right to bear arms. Golly why is that?

The fly is always in the ointment . What says they can't pick this up Reagrdless if what this article says limits it's agenda to only 3 ? it's seems to be a Trojan horse to me.

    serf

If a Constitutional Convention happens then three subjects would be addressed, including two that are vague at this level: Congressional term limits, limiting the size and scope of the federal government, and considering fiscal restraints.

  • mike55mike55 Member Posts: 2,853 ✭✭✭✭

My point has been made again! NO ONE can point to a single thing that Trump did bad for this COUNTRY. Everyone goes after personal attributes(because they themselves are perfect...green font) but haven't heard one thing he did bad as president.

Gas was below $1 a gallon at one point, average was prob less that $2 over his term, there was actually food ON THE SHELF at the store, inflation was UNDER control, etc etc...

Now under ole Joe, we are falling APART. No more mean tweets tho, Joe just calls you and SOB on live tv. It's OK tho, he is a Dem and the SOB is a conservative.

  • pingjockeypingjockey Member Posts: 1,879 ✭✭✭✭

Just look at the two party planks and tell me how we can't be devisive.

  • mike55mike55 Member Posts: 2,853 ✭✭✭✭

Ok. And JOE said he was gonna defeat covid. Soooo.....what's your point?

Covid is gonna be around forever, we know that now. But that somehow makes Trump a bad president in your mind?? If that is the WORST that Trump did, then you still are making my point!

Trump did MORE good for the USA than any pres in recent memory. Biden has only helped OTHER countries while destroying this country.

But again, Trump had mean tweets. That's about all people have against Trump....all while they turn a blind eye to Biden KILLING this country, and on purpose in my opinion.

  • serfserf Member Posts: 9,217 ✭✭✭✭

He raised (Trump)The deficit and clamored for more. The republicans only changed their tune after Biden got elected.THE TWO PARTY SYSTEM IS CORRUPT for this very reason. The U.S. government is kind'a like Wiemar Germany now. They pundits and talking heads are saying it will subside in a year.what a joke!

Get ready for a dictator who will be elected in 2024.Some are saying on the right it will be Kamala Harris and starting in early 2023.But that is probably propaganda from the right for now.

    https://www.propublica.org/article/national-debt-trump

The national debt has risen by almost $7.8 trillion during Trump’s time in office. That’s nearly twice as much as what Americans owe on student loans, car loans, credit cards and every other type of debt other than mortgages, combined, according to data from the Federal Reserve Bank of New York. It amounts to about $23,500 in new federal debt for every person in the country.

  • BobJudyBobJudy Member Posts: 6,445 ✭✭✭✭

Well I can think of a couple of things that I wish Trump had done different. Adding 6.7 trillion to the debt was kind of high for a guy that campaigned on balancing the budget and reducing the debt. To be fair about half that was due to covid but the other 3+ trillion wasn't. Also closing down the economy and keeping it closed was a disaster. I know he went by what his advisors told him but that just means he picked bad advisors.

I personally give his time as president a grade of B-, but I gave Obama a D- and Geriatric Joe gets an F. Obama only scores that high because Joe actually makes Obama look better by comparison. Bob

Maybe some of you haven't realized, but this country is polarized. At least a third of the citizens are full on communists. We need something extreme here or welcome to China West.

I get it. Trump's polarizing too. He's as big an egoist as I've ever seen. Are his policies worth the aggravation?

Maybe they're not. Maybe we should just stay on the safe path and not be divisive. Mitch McConnell will be at least as good a president as Biden.

  • mike55mike55 Member Posts: 2,853 ✭✭✭✭

I agree Trump did raise the debt, because of the swamp creatures on BOTH side of the isle. Trump TRIED to drain the swamp and the creatures ALL pounced on him. Obama raised the dept WAY more than trump and Biden is gonna raise it more than both!

All presidents have raised the debt ceiling since I can't remember when. A SINGLE person(president) can NOT resolve issues by himself.

Trump DID try, Biden doesn't even pretend. Wants TRILLIONS in "infrastructure" with only millions actually going to physical infrastructure. They changed the definition of infrastructure just like they changed the definition of vaccine!

I agree, wish Trump did not raise the debt but he didn't not do that on his own. He did make this country better and stronger. Biden(and Obama) want us to be TOTALLY dependant on other countries for manufacturing, drugs, steel, OIL, etc etc.

Biden will break this great nation. So sad to see, esp knowing how many people are so proud of what he is doing. SMH

  • mike55mike55 Member Posts: 2,853 ✭✭✭✭

Mitch McConnell is part of the problem, swamp creature! But I agree, even Elmo can be at least as good as Biden!

  • pingjockeypingjockey Member Posts: 1,879 ✭✭✭✭

Heard the other day that the government has printed 60% of the money that they have ever printed in the last 2 years.
