... Made a big mistake (everyone else too) thinking women would just revert back to "the little woman" !
The New York Central Railroad issued this poster by Leslie Ragan in 1943 to encourage women to apply for jobs in its system. Once the war was over, of course, they would be fired to free a man to work.
