Can you remove the parkerized coating on a firearm, easily.

    Do a google (or whatever browser you want) to search "how to remove parkerized finish on a gun" lots of hits came up for me.

    It can be removed by abrasive paper or polishing wheel. I don't know about chemical removal. Ruger4me has a good idea. Probably some good YouTube videos there. Also, a good Gunsmithing book would probably cover it.

    Item is long gone so I won't need to know about that one. The UTubes seem to be fixated on small jobs and this would be a shotgun sized project. I have some time so I will google the poop out of all the info I can. Thanks, Mike
