Diesel Fuel Rationing is Coming

serfserf Member Posts: 9,217 ✭✭✭✭

Yes,very soon and some are predicting 7.00 to 10.00 dollars a gallon. The shortage is because they must ship most of the shortage count to NATO nations instead to fight the War in Europe. But I doubt they will admit it.

Experts said with diesel fuel now surpassing labor as the industry's No. 1 expense, fuel shortages could be devastating.

"If we don't have diesel, then we can't run," said Louis Campion, president and CEO of the Maryland Motor Truck Association. "It's giving them concern, that's certainly giving us a lot of concern about the potential and ability to purchase feel at the pump or rationing on fuel or anything that could occur."

Yea but the good ole govt will step up and take care of you! Just depend on them for EVRYTHING and it will be fine! (Green font)

That's what they want anyways, and that is the way they designed all these problems!

Or it could be we reduced the availability by putting sanctions on Russian oil.

Lose the Russian oil production on top of having a tight supply due to short sighted green political b.s. and this is what happens. Bob

    Already about that in canada

  • mike55mike55 Member Posts: 2,855 ✭✭✭✭

Has nothing to do with Russia......those price hikes haven't hit us yet! 99% the fault of the "leaders" in charge!!!

The "Putin price hike" is the latest liberal spin on their screw up! Just sayin'!

It's a win win for President Biden new green deal and The NWO getting more NATO States to join the Club. Less driving here and less meat eating makes the CO2 levels go down but then those methane leaks in arctic are the next big problem, Bill Gates has a plan to get everyone off Biological meats and those belching animals we slaughter for their bodies to consume.

    serf

    https://arcticwwf.org/newsroom/stories/putting-a-lid-on-methane-emissions-before-its-too-late/

The good news? Although methane has a higher heat-trapping potential than CO2, it breaks down in the atmosphere faster. This means that taking action now to drastically reduce methane emissions, in addition to slashing other greenhouse gases emissions, could have a significant impact on the climate, particularly in the near term—which is critical for the Arctic. The United Nations Environment Programme (UNEP) found that cutting human-caused methane by 45 per cent this decade would avoid nearly 0.3°C of global warming by the 2040s.

Oh sure, Slow Joe with re-open new leases. B S !!! How long does it take for a 'new lease' to put fuel in our tanks?

I can only hope that every sucker who supposedly voted for Joe goes hungry all summer and freezes all winter.

  • BobJudyBobJudy Member Posts: 6,445 ✭✭✭✭

Mike, I said it was the short sided green political b.s. which translates into our "leaders". That is what slowed down production and took us from being energy independent to having to beg on the world market like we did before Trump. Fossil fuels are a global market and any interruption in supply like the Russian sanctions is felt immediately because of speculation of higher prices. That increases the price on the old already purchased product that is still in the pipeline. What they sell their current stock for has to cover the increased cost of the next purchase. So the oil we are using now may have cost $75 a barrel but they have to charge us like it cost $100 a barrel so they can afford their next purchase otherwise they can't maintain their inventory. Add that on top of Geriatric Joes inflation because he strangled domestic production and we are screwed. Bob

Oh and Serf, you may be exaggerating a bit but your premise is sort of sound. However, no one has explained to me why methane wasn't a problem when the continent was covered with millions of bison for thousands of years. And as far as the green new deal, if anything this oil fiasco has stifled a lot of its support. At least it has proven that we are not ready either with technology or infrastructure yet.

Anyway you slice it,climate change with Co2 control is being instilled one way or another. Russia is sitting on hydrocarbons that it will never sell to The E.U. now.Of Course India and China will buy it for a while.

The average American cannot afford to buy the living standard they once had anymore and Big upheavals with huge tax increases are coming for all with stagflation. The rich will move and buy tax havens and foreign citizenship and tell The IRS to take a hike.

Of course The G-7 countries will bring in NWO taxation with cashless society to fight this but in the meantime the Country is going to become a third world country very quickly this coming next 5 years.

The politicians here in The USA are either incompetent or just plain stupid. We import everything and export nothing but monopoly funny money and call it a reserve currency. What a joke it all has become here in this sick economy with money changers and the talking heads in Congress who just use politics to get favors, perks and wealth while robbing the U.S.Taxpayers with more debt.

The bigger Davos plan of destroying the old global order to Build it Back Better, where they own everything and you will own nothing and like it or else, is the script.

  • BobJudyBobJudy Member Posts: 6,445 ✭✭✭✭

Where did you come up with the erroneous fact that we don't export anything?

I agree about the incompetent and stupid politicians, but that just refutes your saying in the past that they have some evil NWO plan. Trying to get the worlds masses to acquiesce to a NWO authority would be about as practical as herding cats. Which one of our corrupt, incompetent and stupid politicians will give up their power first? Bob

When the system crashes and The Big players tell you that the old system is dead and if you wish to keep some of your assets in the new system is how they will get you in The NWO,Bob.

Since the exchange system in the old dollar transaction system is dead(worthless). So a need cashless CBDC with new rules and ratios with less tax dodging will be your only choice to continue in your fiances. Congress is already bought and payed for so there will be no problem for the politics to accept the new money game.

The United States GDP is what is meant about importing goods and services balanced against exports which in our case is extremely out of balance,I don't think you are that much of a novice in business terminology.

    https://www.nfcw.com/whats-new-in-payments/us-federal-reserve-launches-public-consultation-on-digital-dollar/

The study identifies the ability to meet future needs and demands for payment services, improvements to cross-border payments, support for the US dollar’s international role, financial inclusion and extending public access to safe central bank money as the key benefits offered by a US CBDC.

It also examines how the issuance of a digital dollar might impact US financial structures, the implementation of monetary policy, privacy protection, cybersecurity and operational resilience.

“The Federal Reserve’s initial analysis suggests that a potential US CBDC, if one were created, would best serve the needs of the United States by being privacy-protected, intermediated, widely transferable and identity-verified,” the study says.

  • BobJudyBobJudy Member Posts: 6,445 ✭✭✭✭

Who is they? Who are the big players? If you add up all the billionaires it hardly makes a dent in the worlds wealth. Digital dollars will still be dollars and will have the same fiat backing that you warn us about. Will the rich like Jeff Besos or Elon Musk roll over and let the system make it easier to steal their wealth? Will rich politicians like Pelosi or even Trump want an accesible electronic financial record so the government can take more of their wealth? I would guess the government knows more about your finances than the rich. Have you ever used a credit card, debit card or written a check? These are means of electronically transferring wealth as payment for goods and services. Those means have been with us a long time and I am sure the information on your transactions has been widely shared. If anything a digital dollar might be a little more private and secure.

As far as the U.S. having a trade deficit, you are correct and it is a problem. However you stated that we no longer exported anything and that was just another exaggerated bit of hyperbole. One thing overlooked amongst all of the problems of having a trade deficit is one positive note. The countries exporting to the U.S. are helping to keep the dollar strong by wanting payments in dollars. Does that offset unemployment, foreign dependency or any other of the problems a trade deficit generates? I don't think so but the American consumer, wanting instant gratification, brought on the demand for cheaper goods. Trump had it right when he demanded large tariffs on Chinese goods. Ultimately it is the consumer that pays those tariffs but that may make them think twice and buy domestic products instead. Create a demand for domestic products and employment, salaries, quality and product safety all go up. Doesn't sound like a NWO to me but instead an economy more insulated from the uncertainties of being at the mercy of countries like China.

In short, yes we have problems but looking at mythical conspiracies of all powerful evil behind the scenes boogeymen and as you put it the money changers doesn't help much. Relying on websites like Zerohedge does nothing but make them richer with every click you make on their site. Bet they don't have a problem being paid in dollars by their advertisers. Their type of sensationalistic, fact ignoring reporting is either a digital version of the National Enquirer at best or worst a modern propaganda machine like Pravda. Folks with preconceived notions like it because the garbage they put out seems to validate those notions. Bob

Another Bull* lie courtesy of Joe Biden and his protectorate media. We have plenty of oil, Joe Biden wont let us extract it.

If our oil is being shipped to foreign countries first rather than taking care of our own: Would not surprise me one bit. Biden and the DEMOCRATS motto: America last.

Vote out Biden and the DEMOCRATs in Nov: Problem solved.

The central Banks are the major manipulators with The Bank of International settlements in Switzerland with The World Economic Forum being the head. Free trade deals with Back door investments for Major leaders here in our governments was a big cause of the shrinking middle class here also. America's small business are in peril now too.

President Nixon taking the dollar off the gold standard is biggest reason for the demise of the dollar. Now after 50 years of spending all our money on foreign goods, funding wars, giving away millions to other states in foreign aid, opening our borders to foreign labor etc... Have cause our demise with inflation and stagnation of our economy.

It's too late for a soft landing with The Federal Reserve. The Republicans will not be able to save us from a bankrupt economy here soon in November. Fuels will skyrocket and The powers to be cannot do anything to stop it in my opinion.

Former President Trump did nothing to balance the budget or reduce spending but cut taxes for the rich. This time around all the king's men like lobbyist, lawyers, bankers with legislators and Corporate leaders cannot put Humpty Dumpy back together again.

The White House said it would place “urgency on research and development of a potential United States CBDC, should issuance be deemed in the national interest.” The White House didn’t spell out what circumstances would warrant the transfer to digital currency.

“This will mean the destruction of the dollar is coming. Your dollar,” Beck said, adding that gas prices, inflation and chaos in Ukraine are all creating opportunities for radical change.

“Everything, everything, about your life will be different soon,” Beck went on. “They’re going to make a transition away from the U.S. dollar to a digital currency, one that can be tracked, controlled, manipulated and designed for, in the words of the White House, equitable access to safe and affordable finance services. ... (I)t will control you and your life, as well as remake all of society.”

  • BobJudyBobJudy Member Posts: 6,445 ✭✭✭✭

    😅😅😅😅

Now you are quoting conspiracy monger Glenn Beck. He lost all of his credibility when he voted for Hillary and advised every one else to do the same! He is a media whore has been who will do anything to try to remain relevant. It is sad because 20 years ago he was doing a pretty good job. Then he embraced some of the extreme rights nutty theories and pretty much lost all his conservative support. As for the economist Schwab, he is probably about as correct as the Nobel winning economists Geriatric Joe listened to. You know the ones that said we weren't going to have inflation. That really worked out "well". Bob

Time will tell who and what is happening to The USA and it's standing in the great scheme of things. But Ross Perot nail it pretty good in 1990 debates for the middle class demise.

    serf

The budget should be balanced, the treasury should be refilled, the public debt should be reduced and the arrogance of public officials should be controlled.

Well, everybody’s nibbling around the edges. Let’s go to the center of the bull’s-eye, the core problem. And believe me, everybody on the factory floor all over this country knows it. You implement that NAFTA, the Mexican trade agreement, where they pay people a dollar an hour, have no health care, no retirement, no pollution controls, and you’re going to hear a giant sucking sound of jobs being pulled out of this country right at a time when we need the tax base to pay the debt and pay down the interest on the debt and get our house back in order.” (from a 1992 presidential debate)

  • BobJudyBobJudy Member Posts: 6,445 ✭✭✭✭

Bingo! Ross Perot nailed it. He is (was) a source that you can depend on. Unfortunately when the costs of doing business in Mexico went up we proved our stupidity and transferred a lot of the work to China. We must keep the masses happy with cheap affordable stuff that they don't really need. In today's society no one thinks in the long term, just in the short, instant gratification, term. Because of this, there are many who deride MAGA. Making America Great Again will take time and effort and sacrifice. Today's society can't be torn away from their toys to invest the time or effort and they sure as heck won't make any sacrifice. They grew up in a "let someone else do it" no responsibility culture. The democrats capitalize on this and have been doing their best to make the last few generations dependent on the government. Their strategy is just the opposite of what their party stood for 60 years ago. Ask not what your country can do for you, but what you can do for your country would only get laughs and derision if it was used in a speech today. As a culture we sure have regressed in those 60 years. Bob

Average price of gas in 2020 was $2.17

  • MobuckMobuck Member Posts: 13,733 ✭✭✭✭

When "the conspiracy monger" is CORRECT, why shouldn't the trail be followed? Anyone who doesn't believe the results of the 2020 election are fraudulent needs to be assessed for sanity.
