I lent my Madis book out. Does anyone how many 1895s were made by caliber.

I don't have any reference that lists Model 1895 production by caliber. This may have been researched by somebody, but I don't have anything in a source I trust. There are a few generalizations that can be made however: (1) Of the 425,132 produced, about 293,816 (69%) were muskets made for Russia in .762 caliber. (2) The early .38-72 and .40-72 calibers were mostly in the model 1 "flatside" receiver that was used until about serial number 5000. But not all model 1s were those calibers, many were .30 Army. (3) The .35 WCF was probably the least popular caliber. (4) 1895s in .30-03 are quite scarce. (5) Madis does say that of the guns not made for export, 3 of 4 were in .30 Army (.30-40-Krag).

Based on those numbers that would be only 32,829 that were not made for export that were other than 30 US Army. Thats not very many.
