I just purchased a Marlin .44 mag. with a micro groove barrel. Any information on loading lead bullets would be appreciated. I am an old timer and have been reloading since 1958. Thank you, Ed life member VFW & NRA.

harder bullets, gas checks, & slower powders (4227, 5744, 4198, ect)
I had a few Micro-Groove guns years ago, none were very accurate. With lead bullets they leaded up pretty fast.
