Dad is Bear Hunting

He has seen a couple of small bears, but nothing worth taking. We have a couple over 400 pounds and one close to 550 to 600 lbs on my property. The little cubs keep coming out with momma bear, but the bruins seem to be hiding. The 550 to 600 pound guy, has a yellow tag in his ear. He is a "Nuisance bear" That keeps breaking into cabins and eating telephone poles. He was trapped and sent three counties, approximately 2 1/2 hours away, but was back within a month. He attacked a woman last summer, putting her trash in a burn barrel. She managed to get to her car and climb inside, before he bit her. Tore the heck out of her paint job !!! This bear has also knocked down three telephone poles on my property. Fish and game said it has something to do with the creosote in the poles??? Not sure what they cure them with. I wrapped the poles with 26 gauge 12" round pipe, up about 15' and filled it with concrete, as per the F&W guy. Worked like a charm. This bear needs to go, one way or another, so my dad and his friend are trying to get it done this week. Oak.
