I was looking forward to seeing pics like this one !!! She looks pretty happy !
Now how big a buck did son of a son shoot this year ??
So very jealous, what fun. Thanks for this, very dry here and it's opening day. Stuck on suck here, need a lot of rain.
He’s hunting now, he’s been filming deer but today is his first hunt. There’s a ‘skirt’ that’s been chasing him, taking up a lot of his time. And he’s building a house/shop under one roof that’s he’s trying to finish before Christmas. I’ll post a pic of his duck blind in another thread.
Good job Birdie,,,
How many ducks can you harvest in a day??? We have a strict limit on ducks and species you can harvest. I think it is two mallards and two wood ducks of one sex.
Nice bag!
See gadwalls, couple red heads, a few mallards, and is that an eclipsed widgeon?
We haven't had that many ducks around here for years!
Congratulations to them!
Six combined of any species of duck. The daily limit may include no more than five mallards (only two may be hens), three wood ducks, two redheads, two canvasbacks, one scaup and one pintail.
I can't count the number of times I have been invited to hunt duck and/or geese. I don't like eating them, so never put in the effort. I suppose I could go just to kill some for my friends but never have.
Pheasant is a different story, loved hunting them and seeing the dogs work, but they are long gone from our area.
Still enjoy seeing you post these pictures though.
