Awesome.
Well, sounds necessary to keep open. Goodbye New York, you clowns.
We need more of this.
Isn't sad? Companies this old with faithful employees having to move there businesses.... Well Smith and Wesson had to do also....
The line is in the sand.

DEMOCRATs are ecstatic and too stupid to realize tax revenue loss.
FN is building a plant near Liberty SC.
Now, bring back the 700 Classic.
Bring back quality
IMO New York has legislated them out of the state with taxes and gun laws. If they wanted to keep Remington, they could have.
It's pretty obvious that they could care less about them. OTH, I'm sure that all of the illegals shipped there will find good paying jobs and their taxes will make up for big "R" going bye-bye.
They had quality? Like when?
All of your Hollywood movies are rotting your brain, yosh. Put down your remote and go pick up a 700 BDL from the Seventy's......😉
Any time prior to 2007. Thankfully, my Remingtons are all 1950s to early 1990s.
My Remington 1100 12 g is a beautiful gun and quality. But then again it's pretty old.

My Remington 1100s, Skeet B, 12 and 20 ga. , large frames, bought in 1969. Work fine....last a long time...
Yes, walnut and shiney blued steel quality!
toad67/Gunnut358 - So y'alls are saying those years the 700s won't go all Alec Baldwin? I thought it went further back than 2007.
I thought they did fine until Cerebus got involved, ignored anything resembling QC, and ran them into the ground. Same thing happened with Marlin. As I recall, Remington had some issues with triggers on the 700, where the rifle would fire when the safety was switched off. Not all of them, mind you, but it did happen, but we're talking a few out of millions. I've never personally witnessed one that was faulty, and I like to think I've been around a bunch of them over the years. A couple people died, which was 100% avoidable if the people handling the rifles had bothered to know where the muzzle was pointed, and, of course, the MSM ran with it, but never once looked at it the way they should have.
IIRC, the trigger issues were from people trying to adjust, non-adjustable triggers.
Watched the News a few days back, They said that Remington was being forced out of NY by the Sandy Hook Settlement. NOT.
The current move is from economic and political motivation.
The settlement happened years ago, and caused he original breakup.
Here's the video I now base on my opinion of Remington.
Well, it's far left CNBC so they're gonna spin it in as bad a light as possible. If those leftist dweebs told me it gets dark at night I'd run outside to verify it for myself.
An investment group called the Roundhill Group according to this:

CNBC, a well trusted source of unbiased information for sure.
"CNBC, a well trusted source of unbiased information for sure."
Whaaat?
I think you've proven once again the need for a 'sarcasm' font or color!
To get away from the Remington Trigger problem. Rem Arms ( Remington) is now installing Timiney triggers in all rifles sold.
