In addition to being rizz, I am pretty excited!

Why am I excited? Because I just found the look I want for the pantry remodel I am doing. Behold:
I have an antique door (with pane windows) that I am refinishing in dark stain to match the existing trim, but the inside shelving is going to look like this. To make the lowest shelf a bit taller, I will lower that base trim to 4", allowing the low shelf to be a couple inches lower. I found this just in time, too because I was about to close up a wall that I want to put electrical in for the countertop.

Hmm.... Needs more rizz.

we have a pantry too, not like that one though. That's one way to do it, if you're into nice looking, functional, and all.
Want pictures after you get it done. You and Neo both have beautiful homes.
Thanks Joe. I think I've shared pics from my last place but not this one yet. It's a work in progress still. It takes a lot of sweat to make it look nice and I think Steve can attest to that.

That'll be real nice, Randy. I like the butcher block counter. Are you building your own shelves or having that part done in a cabinet shop? Looking forward to some in-progress and finished pictures.
My next project is to set up my permanent wood shop so I can do the rest of the cabinets I want to do. I was working in what is now our basement living room but now that it's carpeted I don't think my wife will allow me to set up the saws and whatnot down there.
Nice let us know and some photos when completed
I will be building it all.
