Is projected to make a right turn towards Virginia. The upper South is also in his path.

If it gets out of Texas it will only be a slight breeze.
It keeps moving towards the north. It is now headed yowards Houston. It could pick up strength and become a really bad storm.
Just part of nature, but the media tells us these things never happened before climate change.
Houston needs a good cleanout.😲
That could sweep in some more of them immigrant voters from across the border.
Passed through here in SW Arkansas yesterday. The NWS issued over 60 tornado warnings. We had two pass with in 5 miles of our home, and lost power for a short time. I heard that one death was reported in NW Louisiana when a tree fell on a house. Our county emergency service had all the trees cleared from the roads late last night.
Just watching the weather report on the tube and they are predicting 4" of rain for me tonight. Don't need it and sure don't want it. They said we have had 20 TROPICAL storms in Michigan in the last 100 years or so. Maybe I should advertise my place as tropical beach front property! That should be worth a few million more if I ever decide to sell. 😁 Bob
Had a man ask me today if the 7-8" of rain flooded my house. I told him if my house flooded, his house in town would need a LONG snorkel because the elevation at my house is 115 feet above his. My house is 120 feet from the road and there is a 13 foot drop to the road.
I don't think we've had 7-8" inches of rain this entire year
Beryl went through here last night and graciously left us with 1.71" of much-needed rain.
Joe
By the time it rolled near central MO, it brought some cool temperatures for the day and about half an inch of rain…. Back to hot and humid today
Well we didn't get the 4 inches they predicted, only around 2. The heavy band was 2 miles west of us where they got around 5 inches overnight and flood warnings are in effect west and north of us. Glad we only got the 2 but it will still keep me off the mower and doing any more work on the deck for a few more days. Oh well, being retired means I'll have the time to get caught up with the chores when the weather permits. Bob
We didn't get a drop where I am in Central Texas😔
I'm pretty sure Beyrl is feminine.
HD, check you spelling. Grins.
Beryl is a mans name for sure.
Well I sure can't spel.
There are a lot of pretty pissed off people in Houston right now. They are calling Centerpoint Energy. Centerpointless.

Lots of people still without power. No AC in Houston is miserable.
HD, comes with age.
I can half way spell but my fingers don't hit the keys properly about half the time.
IF they can’t handle four days without power them go somewhere where there is. A company can’t grow electric polls overnight and get that mess up overnight. Worked for an electric business for a few years and those guys and gals workers worked fast and SAFE getting it back on.
Looked it up, feminine gender, sanskrit origin. Green stone, think jade, a name in Great Britian, never caught on here, nor did jade for that matter.
